Baylee Froerer
Hi, I’m Baylee
Product Designer • E-commerce, SaaS • 5 years experience
I specialize in clarity, turning complex systems into usable, scalable products that ship.
I have led multiple end-to-end initiatives, often as the sole designer, across B2B, B2C, and B2B2C. My experience spans Salesforce-based products, integrations, and net-new platforms from acquisitions, with ownership of critical workflows including data and reporting, hotel and event booking, and e-commerce. Grounded in hands-on research and testing, I have led and conducted initiatives with top-tier enterprise clients such as AWS, Adobe, IBM, and many more.
Work
Orchestrating a High-Stakes Acquisition Discovery
Rainfocus • 2025
Led a highrisk business acquisition through ambiguity and delivered clarity during a high-risk business acquisition.
Broke down a complex project into actionalbe, scalable solutions, and led with both empathy and systems-thinking. I collaborated on both the team and executive levels, and prototyped experiences that balanced immediate business need, alongside maintaining a long-term product vision. I didn’t just design solutions, but shaped overall project direction, with a goal of aligning teams, and turning chaos into a coherent product story.

Streamlining Package Waitlist Operations
Rainfocus • 2025
Showcasing how I turned messy, high-volume operational workflows into clear, decision-ready product systems.
As the sole UX designer, I led discovery, testing, and handoff of a reworked package waitlist experience that helped admin teams manage invites, track outcomes, and report progress without relying on external tools or manual data cleanup. Clients managing a feature called Package-Waitlists, were handling thousands of attendees with tools lacking search, visibility, and lifecycle tracking, forcing manual workarounds, fragmented reporting, and high operational risk.

Optimizing Registration for Conversion and Flexibility
Rainfocus • 2024
Demonstrating how I turned complex client demands, sales pressure, and technical constraints into high impact product decisions.
Clients were losing conversions and confidence due to rigid registration workflows that forced payment and account creation before attendees could understand ticket pricing, availability, or urgency. I led the redesign of the event registration and ticket purchase experience to better support new attendee personas, increase purchase clarity, and enable flexible client configurations while remaining feasible within existing system constraints.

Shaping Hotel Inventory at Scale
Rainfocus • 2024
Quickly adapated and stepped into a complex enterprise domain, while balancing user needs, technical constraints, and team capacity.
Clients managing global hotel inventory across multiple events were experiencing high friction, limited visibility, and inefficient workflows within the inventory management tool. This project focused on simplifying how hotel managers viewed, edited, and controlled complex room inventory directly within the platform where they already worked.

Enterprise Hotel Booking Enhancement
Rainfocus • 2024
Demonstrating my ability to quickly onboard to a new domain and deliver high quality, production-ready designs under tight timelines.
This project was a high risk booking flow that required attendees to cancel an existing hotel reservation before browsing alternatives, often resulting in lost reservations during high demand events. I led the design of a self service hotel swap experience allowing attendees to search and confirm a new booking while safely retaining their original reservation, reducing user frustration, support escalations, and manual client intervention.

Enterprise Gamification Admin Redesign
Rainfocus • 2024
Designing a scalable validation system for high-volume, real-world event complexity.
This project demonstrates my ability to translate real-world operational complexity into scalable systems, lead discovery through direct field research, and design flexible admin tools that perform under enterprise scale and live-event constraints.

Bridging Event Intelligence into Salesforce
Rainfocus • 2023
Designing and shipping two Salesforce AppExchange releases as the sole UX designer.
The primary challenge was designing within an unfamiliar platform and design system while learning new personas, mapping complex data integrations, and delivering value quickly for enterprise sales teams without disrupting data integrity or existing workflows. I navigated platform constraints, aligned cross-functional teams, and translated complex product ecosystems into intuitive enterprise experiences under aggressive timelines.

Turning Event Data into Enterprise Decisions
Rainfocus • 2023
Simplifying a complex, data-heavy workflow to increase self-serve adoption in an enterprise environment.
Live Tables is RainFocus’s collaborative data tool, enabling event teams to collect, edit, and share event data with external contributors without granting admin access. I was tasked with leading discovery to understand why adoption was limited and redesigning the experience to make Live Tables easier to create, reuse, and share, without compromising data integrity or flexibility.

Redefining Event Analytics • Dashboard
Rainfocus • 2022
Untangled a complex dashboard product by defining clear user personas and validating solutions through client-tested iterations.
I led discovery and usability testing to clarify who RainFocus dashboards were built for and how clients actually used them. Through interviews with 17 organizations and data analysis across 29 clients, I defined core personas and priorities that aligned the product team and informed direction through iterative, client-validated design improvements. After the product was deployed, we measured a >9% month-to-month uptick in new user adoption.

Tier Navigation Redesign • Mobile App
Overstock.com • 2021
Turning a high-drop-off mobile navigation into a data-validated UX win for Overstock.
Led a data-driven redesign of Overstock’s mobile app navigation, reducing friction, and validating impact through a 200-person A/B test that improved findability >7% and reduced clicks by 1.8 average per user.
